Wine Country
Yellowstone: Day Four
Our last full day in Yellowstone was spectacular so we decided to revisit Old Faithful. It was much better the second time. Afterwards, we hiked towards Fairy Falls. We made a pit-stop to climb up a steep hill to get a bird's eye view of the Grand Prismatic. It was the perfect way to spend our last day in the park.
Yellowstone: Day Three
Day three was a beautiful hike up the north rim of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Words cannot describe it's magnificence. On the way home we saw several bison along the side of the road. We also had a couple close encounters when we stopped at the Mud Volcano.
Yellowstone: Day Two
The Goodin camping curse manifested on day two as the storm clouds
rolled in. Refusing to let the rain hold us back, we headed for Old
Faithful. Even in the rain, the place was packed. Unfortunately, the
gloomy sky masks the geyser in the photos. Soaked and tired, we headed
back to the campsite. When the rain let up, we spent some time hiking
around the lake and at the local visitor's center. After dinner, we
all took our first showers since arriving.
