Lamaze Class Reunion

Ava and I went to our lamaze class reunion today. There were five babies. It was so fun to talk about parenthood and the fun things our babies are doing. Our lamaze teacher even came. We are definitely going to get together again. Our friends Kevin and Andria were there too. I got some cute pictures.

I'm pooped!

And I haven't even had my play date yet.


We're headed to our Lamaze class "reunion" to see everyone's babies. Should be fun. I'll be sure and take pictures.

Seven Weeks Ago

We were in the hospital with Ava getting her so-called "hospital" picture. Because we didn't find out the sex when I was pregnant, we weren't prepared with an outfit at all. Thank goodness people had brought gifts with clothes! But the only thing we had was a three month outfit and a cute hat. The outfit was so big but she sure looked cute! What is crazy is I put that same outfit from Grandma Barb on her today and it fits perfectly. It's amazing how she has changed!

Ava's First Trip to Kansas

We had a very busy trip home to Kansas City last week. Ava was such a trooper on our flight there and back. I was so proud of her! While we were home, Ava got to meet both of our families! Josh and I also celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Josh's parents treated us to a fabulous dinner at a place called Café Beautiful in Lawrence. Here are some pictures of the entire trip.

A Day for Firsts

We had many firsts today. I went back to work, Ava started daycare and to start it all on a good note she had her first seven hour sleep stretch last night! What a day! Mom was kind of a mess this morning but she did great at daycare and we get to spend the day together tomorrow. Yeah for a part-time work schedule! Here is a picture of Ava on her first day.
