Day one started after a very chilly night in Yellowstone. Josh made breakfast for us before we set out for the day. First, we went to West Thumb Geyser Basin. It's amazing that this kind of geothermal activity can coexist with so many plants and animals.
After lunch, we went on our first hike of the week. It was a three mile hike to the Natural Bridge. We threw Ava in the backpack and she was able to fall asleep on Josh's back. It was an easy hike until we got to the bridge, where we had to climb some steep switchbacks to get to the top. Overall it was a great way to start the week.
