What's A Doggie Do?

Haircut

Ava needed a haircut pretty bad today. She sort of had a little mullet. I knew we weren't going to be seeing Grandma for a while and since I sort of know what I am doing (with good instruction of course) I decided to do it myself. I think it turned out pretty cute!

TOPGUN Graduation

Josh finally finished TOPGUN this week. The patching ceremony was Thursday night at the Officer's Club, and graduation was on Friday morning. He's worked very hard over the last two months and we're very proud of him!

Chalk and Dirt

It was very pretty outside on Sunday so we were outside most of the day, with the exception of the grocery store. I got out the chalk for the first time for Ava and she seemed to really enjoy herself. I just had to keep telling myself, as she got it all over her face, this is what being a child is all about. It wasn't until Daddy decided to let her play in the dirt that I almost had a heart attack:) But again, that is what being a child is all about...I suppose. We decided she got to play in the dirt(which ended up being a good thirty minutes) until she put it in her mouth. Afterwards she got a nice long bath. I had to scrape the dirt out from under her finger nails! Josh just laughed at me. Her are some pictures from her chalk and dirt adventures.
