South Lake Tahoe

We rented a cabin this past weekend in South Lake Tahoe with some friends. Even though we didn't ski, we still took advantage of the beautiful weather. While most of our mini vacation was spent relaxing and enjoying time with friends, we didn't get to the snow covered beach and took a ride up the gondola at Heavenly. You can bet there will be more trips like this in our future especially since it's only two hours away!

My commute this morning....

11 Months

I can't believe Ava is almost 1! Here are some pictures we took this morning for her 11 month pictures. I managed to get one side ponytail in but no piggys. I'll take what I can get!

Pogonip

We woke up this morning to one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It's what they call in the aviation community pogonip. Basically it's frozen fog! It sticks to everything and looks like nothing I have ever seen. So cool!

Soda Lake

We had another great Fallon adventure this evening. Josh stumbled upon a lake that is about five minutes away. He got off work a little early tonight so we gathered the troops and headed to Soda Lake. What a great find! We hiked around a little bit and the dogs had such a great time. It will be a great place to go this summer and take Ava fishing. I think we might go back and have a picnic with some friends this weekend.
