Weekend in Omaha

Josh was in town this past week and we drove up to Omaha to see Uncle John. We were going to drive to Lincoln to tailgate for the Nebraska game but decided not to because the weather was really crappy. I hated doing it but grandma got Ava and I Huskers t-shirts. I wore my purple shirt most of game day though! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

My Second Quilt

I have a little catching up to do on blog posts! Several weeks ago another friend of mine had a baby shower. She is due in November and is having a little girl. I decided not to make the quilt pink and instead went with oranges and browns. As much as I love pink and purple, I always loved receiving gifts for Ava that weren't pink and purple. Congrats Leah! Can't wait to meet her.
